Hail Voyagers! Our Pick this week, from San Diego, California: Wild Wild Wets! Their debut LP, 14th Floor, is out on vinyl via Big Tomato Records, and cassette via Grizzly Records & Rubber Brother.
Mike Turi - Vocals / Synth, Taejon Romanik - Guitar, Yegor Mackey - Bass, and Marco Piro - Drums, are Wild Wild Wets and the ensemble punches a hole in the cloud cover with this first effort. (We understand there's a new one being assembled at this writing!) With tracks like "Blacks Bridge," "14th Floor," and "Floating," the band are proving to be a force. Given a chance I think you'll agree.
