-valis Pick of the Week

Hail Voyagers! Our final pick of Spring, 2014! Fitting then our Pick comes from the land of rain. And more rain on top of the rain: from Edinburgh, Scotland, Frantic Chant! Their new album, Ride It Like A Shark, is out now via their own Dogs Got A Bone label.

Surprising, to me, this group just continues to pump out a quality listening experience as much as they pump out copious quantities of same! This new album, which I believe is their seventh, offers up -for the adventurous among us, another solid psychedelic smorgasbord full of the sounds and touchstones we know and love best about this our favorite genre. Thirteen tracks of pure pineal, or if you prefer: tracks to wiggle your Shatner's Bassoon. (I also recommend you go back and obtain the rest of the catalog. It's for your own good.) How about this? Give "The March of the Electric Hands" a listen:

A salute and tip o' the helmet to Darren, Stazy, Nick, and Col! Keep 'em coming, please!

You can listen to the archived stream here; or, hear it this Friday, on The Dead Man's Turn Me On, Dead Man show on Live365, where it's heard every Friday at noon eastern time, as well as Mr. Atavist's Sunrise Ocean Bender show, heard every other Thursday from 11pm to 1 am eastern, on WRIR in Richmond, VA.

Note:
Adding the Pick of the Week to their show is Dogs Got A Bone out of Edinburgh, Scotland, from 10pm to midnight, Mondays, U.K. time, (adjust accordingly,) on Belter Radio. Thanks Col Chant!
