-valis Pick of the Week

Hail Voyagers! We've just two Picks left after this one, completing another trip 'round the Mighty Orb. (And from there it's on to the task of hewing an amazing year's worth of music into some list where 52 won't do.) However, let's not get ahead of ourselves. This week we've chosen Copenhagen, Denmark's, amazing amalgamation Spids Nøgenhat! Their newest album, Kommer Med Fred, is out on venerable label Bad Afro!

For those familiar with the sounds of Baby Woodrose & On Trial -and if you're not, you should be, the sounds are what you'd expect from members of those bands. Perhaps more concise in the songcraft and length departments, they're still full of their namesake-driven sounds. Listen, in full, here. Bringing back that '70s Euro' take on psychedelic music and the giants which strode the northern climes of the Continent. Honoring the line of their people. With a fistfull of Spids Nøgenhat!
