Hail Voyagers! As suggested last week in a comment, our new Pick of the Week is Psychic Ills! (Brooklyn. Again.)



Their new album, Hazed Dream, came out late last month on Sacred Bones. Although from a cursory overview the blogosphere seems rather split on the overall merits of the album. To these ears the arguments stating there's a saminess to the album bears a kernel of truth but there's also enough difference to warrant attention on its own.
They've found a vibe that worked for Hazed Dream and got locked in it. It works, for me. Try this:
