-valis Pick of the Week

They're BACK! The Motor City's bringers of mayhem & psychedelia, Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapor, are set to launch the new album on Friday, 11/11/11, through Detroit label New Fortune Records. Titled Spectra Spirit, it comes on translucent yellow vinyl and comes in a hand screen printed sleeve. Delicious!

The new album finds our heroes in full-on swagger and menace mode, disposing of the incense and lava lamps for the wafts of a hookah and bonfires. They're neither here to mess around nor waste your time. Highest recommend. (Pardon me whilst I puff on my own hookah...)

Also, "F Y I," the threesome is out on the road throughout the eastern portion of the U.S. of A. in support of the release; go see 'em, ask about the hookah's size, and tell 'em "-valis sent me!"
