-valis Pick of the Week

Hail Voyagers!
There is certainly something in the waters of Chicago! Whatever it is: keep drinking! We're all the luckier for it.

This week's Pick hails from the Windy City and has shown they can be as relentless as any of their peers mining the rich vein of psychedelia: Apteka!

Their new album, Gargoyle Days, is about to drop this coming Monday, October 31st. (Order the vinyl via Saki Store; it also comes with a download card. Band recommended.)

A worthy addition to thier body of work, Gargoyle Days is rather loaded with pure shots -of and for, the pineal. You should consider streaming the archive of today's Trip Inside This House show to get your ears around two of the finer tracks as no video exists, yet, for those. (Perhaps brother blood meridian will take up the challenge?)

At any rate, how about this: give a listen to their Traitors 7" on Bandcamp.

You can listen to the archived stream here; or, hear it this Friday, on The Dead Man's Turn Me On, Dead Man show on Live365, where it's heard every Friday at noon eastern time, as well as Mr. Atavist's Sunrise Ocean Bender show, heard every Friday from 3 to 6am eastern, on WRIR in Richmond, VA.
