The Wayback Machine

Greetings & Hail Voyagers! On this last day of March, moving forward into the promise of April's sun, we welcome to The Wayback Machine Jamie Laboz! We tipped you to his Green Album last Fall as worthy of your time and attention. (Still gets plenty of headphone excursions here at the CPPP, especially "The Inner Light" and "Flying Into The Sun"!) You can go here, "the Official Unofficial Site" and get it for free. He's also created new artwork for the album as well since last we spoke of it here. I recommend!

OK, we see Jamie has his helmet on-(wonder if he took his protein pills?)and is ready to go:

The premise: You've been given a one-time opportunity to use The Wayback Machine; what band would you like to see, in what year, and what song would you most want to see them play?

Jamie: So if I hopped aboard the Wayback Machine I'd want to see The Small Faces play "Ogden's Nut Gone Flake" in France, 1968. Looks like my kind of scene.

Thanks Jamie, and best wishes! -valis

Ahh.......if I could travel in the Wayback Machine, I think I'd stop by Steve Marriot's digs after he'd nodded off so I could pull the cigarette from between his fingers and stub it safely out.

Stevie, old son, we miss ya!

I downloaded Jamie's Green gift to the world of music when you first posted the link and have enjoyed it more times than I can count. Nuttin' flakey 'bout his genius!

Has anyone ever released a cd version of ogden in the tobacco tin? That would be pretty boss.

Yet another album I feel I need to revisit. Thanks for the reminder and the additional context!
