The Wayback Machine

Trip Inside This House is proud to welcome our friend Ritchie from Germany's own Screaming Apple Records! Looking back over their catalog reads like a who's who of all that's great about music: The Thanes, the Aardvarks, the Cynics, Monomen, the Worst (!),the A-Bones, Loons, Maggots, Nomads! Recent releases by Ireland's wild ones the Urges, the Maggots, the Dee Rangers & Marc & the Spies keep this label vital and and keen on the scene. So, strapped in and ready to go, here's Ritchie!

The premise: You've been given a one-time opportunity to use The Wayback Machine; what band would you like to see, in what year, and what song would you most want to see them play?
Ritchie: It would be the BYRDS in early 1966 playing "Mr.Tambourine Man" in LA. That's my fave line-up,it still includes Gene Clark.

OK, here you go...

Say hello to Ritchie and seek out their labels music at distributors worldwide! Thanks Ritchie!

It was so beautiful when that record was released as there was nothing like the sound of the Bryds anywhere, they just seemed to come from out of nowhere!
